Teddy Sports Club is a fully structured, curriculum based, educational programme with lesson plans designed to develop sports skills at an early age.
Teddy Sports Club works by using a combination of music and pictures making it fun and inspirational.
How it works!
Music provides the rhythm and timing that is essential for learning to play many sports. Pictures are used to involve the children in what they are going to do in each game or activity.
The combination of music and pictures inspires children to participate and have fun. All the music and pictures have been written and created by Teddy Sports Club.
Teddy Sports Club stimulates both the auditory and visual senses…. this is the secret of our club.
Music & Pictures
All Teddy Sports Club songs have been written by Head Ted.
The songs provide the rhythm and timing that is key to playing tennis successfully.
The words of the songs tell the children what they are supposed to do.
Head Ted encourages the kids to sing along to the chorus of the song… it all adds to the FUN!
Pictures of the Teddy Sports Club at play are shown to the Cub Cadets (children) before the start of each game so they know what to do.
The coach (Head Ted) also uses the pictures to involve the Cub Cadets in the lesson by asking questions about what’s in the picture.
